Do people really get up this early?

So today is an exciting day for me. I started my internship today with iDesign in east Nashville. I'm really pumped about it all except for one thing. I have to be there at 8 which means that i have to get up at 5:40 every mon, tues, and thurs this summer. Its not that I live so far away but more due to rush hour traffic. I imagine it will be something that I get used to but I've gotten pretty spoiled so far this summer sleeping in till 9 or 10 everyday.
